About Us

We Raise Healthy Chickens Living Outdoors

All our chickens are raised in small groups and spend most of their lives foraging the rolling hills of our farm. They are fed a compliment of locally sourced grains. We never give antibiotics to our chickens like the big barn producers who run tens of thousands of birds in windowless buildings.

A Passion for Chickens

We have been raising chickens for over 20 years. Our move to East Tennessee over 5 years ago allowed us to expand our passion to raising birds on our 200 acre farm in Vonore. Member of the American Pasture Poultry Producers Association (APPPA) we follow the accepted practices of the organization and all of our chickens live on pasture. All birds are raised from day old chicks on the farm. Our meat birds and young egg layers live in spacious pens that are moved daily to fresh pasture. Our mature egg layers free range portions of the day and are protected at night in their pasture pens. Meat birds are processed on the farm in our modern sanitary processing facility and sold whole fresh or frozen to individuals and restaurants in the State of Tennessee and are Exempt P.L. 90-492.

Firewood

Firewood is available seasonally and can be picked up at the farm by the rick or cord. We always have firewood available for our camping customers.
